Next month will be 3 years since I started this blog. It’s been a slow and steady process, a slow and steady growth. Mostly it’s been an ongoing project for me, something of a creative outlet. Before I began writing a blog, I didn’t even read them. I actually had this idea that blogs were all kind of bland and boring. I’m not sure where that came from, but I’m glad I didn’t stick to that way of thinking. Now that I’m apart of the blogging world, I realize how vast it is, and am grateful to all those who are interested enough to read and look through my posts, as I’m well aware that there is much out there.
Which is why I was pretty surprised when I received an email from Rebecca of miss604.com the other day, asking if I wouldn’t mind answering a few questions about my blog for a feature on her blog. Her blog is kind of a big deal here in Vancouver, and I’m still not sure my Dad even knows I have a blog (this will be a good test!), so I definitely jumped at the opportunity. Not only will the exposure be a great thing, but as I answered the questions I realized I was being forced to clearly articulate what I’m about, what my goals are and where I want to see my blog go in the coming years. It was so good for me to do that.
Thanks so much to Miss604 for the feature, for getting me to write down what I want others to know about me and for possibly getting my dad to read my blog. Cheers!
