Joey and Kristin’s wedding was on a day somewhat like today; the skies were overcast and it was unseasonably chilly for September in Raleigh, but unlike today, thankfully, the rain held off. There’s something so romantic about a white dress, black suit, and gray skies. I just loved it.

As a second to Jen Arthur, I came into the wedding having never met the bride and groom. Despite that, both Kristin and Joey were so welcoming, so genuine. Calm, too, and happy! Their smiles said it all. Even before I saw them together, I could just tell they really loved each other and were so excited that their day had come. It was really an honor, and so enjoyable, to be apart of helping to document their love and all of the friends and family it brought together.
