hello hello! i'm cat, and this is my (our) blog. i write a lot about motherhood and try to find the creative in our day to day lives. i also may share photo sessions as they come my way or a photos series i may be doing as a personal project. maybe a new recipe we're all loving at the moment. instagrams and dr. seuss quotes. this is also a space for me to just write. i've always been a lover of words. grab a cuppa brew and have a browse. cheers.

BlogAboutPhotos-5hello! we are the watsons. that’s matt, i’m cat, and our two littles are evelyn and theodore (he’s usually eating something. as you can see above, his hand was digging into a goldfish bag). and evelyn? she’s only 3, but yes her top four teeth are gone. she likes to climb things and one day decided it’d be a good idea to climb a dresser three times her size and it fell on top of her. but not to worry! no brain damage (thank goodness). just a smile filled with character.

this blog is written mainly by me (cat), but who knows, matt might pop in every now and then to say hello. we live in beautiful vancouver, bc and really love it here. matt is a soccer player, i am a mommy and wifey and blogger (duh), and a photographer when i’m not being laundry lady (check out my website yo) and our children are full of energy. i love to run, the smell of fall,  skinny jeans, dr. seuss and pretty design. i’m learning that i can’t do it all, and that that’s ok. i’m learning what it looks like, and what it means, to love Jesus.

hello world! is something i say to the kids when we wake up in the morning. we pull the blinds up, usually greeted by still darkness, and say hello to the waking world. as a photographer, i’m all about preserving the memories. as an english major, i’m all about writing them down. and that’s what this blog is about.
