As the old saying goes, Chloe glows. But really, I know that’s said about every pregnant woman…yet Chloe took it to a whole new level. She just wears pregnancy so well, and it was such a treat to photograph someone so beautiful, specifically in that stage of life. We sat and chatted for awhile before we started shooting, just relaxing in their beautiful home, talking about everything baby related. Most of the shoot took place in their bedroom, making it intimate, comfortable, and relaxed. The gorgeous light in there didn’t hurt, either. These upcoming shots are some of my favorites to date…

Congratulations to you both, I so enjoyed spending the evening with you. I cannot wait to meet and photograph your little boy in just a few short weeks! I’m sure Tennyson (love his name!) will be absolutely adorable.

I love this necklace Chloe had made of her son’s name; you can see in the first shots that she has one with her own name as well. Love it.

I’m more aware of it than ever now. The changes that take place in the first year of life are simply amazing. I photographed baby Chase last April when he was just a few weeks old. He’s still got those adorable cheeks, but my how he has grown! He came walking, more like running, out of the car ready to explore and kept me on my toes the whole session. He and big brother Jayden have lots of energy, and then some! We spent the evening walking around Joyner Park in Wake Forest, basically letting the boys take the lead while I captured them as they are in this season of their lives: busy! Loved every second of it. Forman family, thanks for having me along to photograph your family, you guys were a blast :)

Chase has other ideas for family portraits. Love it!
